The Asia Climate Summit (ACS) 2026, organized by IETA in collaboration with ICAP, is the definitive gathering for carbon market experts and sustainability leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. As Asian economies rapidly develop domestic emissions trading schemes, this summit provides a vital platform for aligning regional policies with the Article 6 framework of the Paris Agreement. The event moves beyond theoretical discussion to focus on the technical "plumbing" of carbon markets—addressing integrity, transparency, and cross-border trade. By bringing together over 500 delegates from government, finance, and heavy industry, the summit aims to catalyze the private capital necessary to fund the region's decarbonization while navigating evolving global regulations like the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
