The Carbon Markets Africa Summit (CMAS) 2026 is the continent’s premier platform for advancing high‑integrity carbon markets and unlocking Africa’s significant carbon value. Hosted in Kigali, the summit convenes policymakers, project developers, investors, standards bodies, and financial institutions to build an investable, credible carbon pipeline aligned with African climate and development priorities. With expert guidance from AfDB, VCMI, Verra, UNDP, and regional carbon‑market alliances, CMAS focuses on MRV‑ready solutions, policy alignment, Article 6 implementation, and securing climate finance flows for nature‑based and technology‑based mitigation.
