Description

The International Meeting on Educational Practices in S&T Museums (EnIPEM) – Climate Change on the Agenda, will be held from August 24th to 29th, 2026, at the Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences (MAST) in Rio de Janeiro. This expanded second edition positions science museums as essential institutions for global climate debate, focusing on how museum education and scientific communication contribute to citizenship. The event promotes international exchange among professionals from museums, science centers, and botanical gardens to develop theoretical and methodological frameworks. Through lectures, workshops, and working groups, EnIPEM aims to empower educators and researchers to address socio-scientific problems, fostering public policies that strengthen the role of cultural institutions in the global fight against climate change.
