​A gathering of Global South ecosystem enablers to advance collaboration and innovation pathways ​ ​The path to Net Zero is impossible if the Global South is ignored. As the engine of innovation and the crucible of climate impact, these regions are where the 1.5o C pathway will be secured. We must move beyond Global North-dominated funding to empower the innovators who are building the foundations of a new, just green economy. ​ ​South-South Collective for the Climate platform: ​Launched officially at COP30 in Belém, Brazil, the South-South Collective for the Climate (S2C2) is a pivotal component of the Plan to Accelerate Solutions (PAS) within the COP framework. Incubated by CCF and Climate Ventures, S2C2 is a coalition dedicated to building climate-tech ecosystems from within the Global South, facilitating the cross-border flow of knowledge, technology, and capital. ​This summit, to be held on 27 Feb 2026 during Delhi Climate Innovation Week is Organized by the South-South Collective for the Climate (S2C2), Climate Collective Foundation (CCF) and CEEW. This serves as a critical convergence point to move from ambition to implementation. We specifically aim to bridge the gap between India and Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, and Guyana), overcoming geographic distances to brainstorm and build resilient climate-tech bridges. ​ ​WHY THIS EVENT ​This summit is designed to cement the Global South's role as the protagonist of the new green economy. We focus on: ​·       Fostering Cross-Regional Collaboration: Establishing operational partnerships for technology transfer and shared market access. ​·       Strategic Bilateral Talks: Showcasing models for scaled South-South investment, specifically exploring bridges between India and Latin American hubs like Brazil, Colombia, and Guyana. ​·       Actionable Knowledge Pathways: Launching mechanisms to disseminate proven climate-tech ecosystem strategies from India to partner regions. ​ ​Here’s what is planned for South – South Summit 2026 – ​·       Plenary - Global South Leadership in Climate Tech Ecosystem: ​This plenary explores how Global South nations are reclaiming the climate narrative. It shifts focus from North-dominated funding toward self-determined leadership models that drive a just green economy. ​·       Roundtable - Scaling Global South Climate Tech Innovations ​A strategic roundtable connecting ecosystem stakeholders to identify corridors for scaling affordable, locally relevant solutions. We address fragmentation to ensure capital and technology flow seamlessly across emerging markets. ​·       Launch - Launch of the 'Learning Lab' ​Launching a mechanism for disseminating proven climate-tech ecosystem strategies. This lab facilitates cross-regional knowledge exchange, ensuring successful models from India and partner regions are shared to accelerate ecosystem development globally. ​·       Fireside Chat - Pathways for Bilateral Cooperation: India & Guyana ​A fireside chat examining the unique partnership between India and Guyana.
