The World Bank Group Annual Meetings 2026 will convene heads of state, finance ministers, central bank governors, civil society, and private‑sector leaders in Bangkok to address global economic development and the rapidly evolving climate‑finance landscape. Taking place from 12–18 October, the meetings focus on advancing poverty reduction, strengthening financial stability, and building resilience in the face of escalating climate risks. Key sessions include the Plenary, the Development Committee, and IMF–WBG joint meetings, complemented by public events, regional briefings, and global dialogues. As the world confronts growing economic fragility and climate‑driven shocks, the 2026 Meetings offer a critical platform to shape reform of international financial institutions and accelerate climate‑aligned investment
